General Questions

We are still at Atlas Park - though we are now on the other side of the mall. We are tucked in behind the escalators between the TMobile store and TJ Maxx.

We spent most of this past summer (2025) schlepping all our equipment, paintings, sculptures, easels, printing presses - and all the stuff we collected over the years - schlepped it across the quad and into our new space. While we do miss our original space - we are settling into our new studio and have built more presses and started up some new paintings and feel good about Little Pulp 2.0.
We hope you will visit us and sign up for one of our workshops. As of writing this FAQ post (Sept 2025) we are trying to build out the full Fall/Winter schedule - so please check our calendar for all our upcoming workshops.

Unfortunately, we are not set up for walk-ins. The type of art we create here (Printmaking) requires quite a bit of instruction, so all our workshops are pre-scheduled in advance - and you need to sign up through our website.
You can check our Event Calendar for all our upcoming workshops.

All our workshops are suitable for ages 18 months and up, unless otherwise noted. For instance:

Our Wednesday afternoon Cartooning Workshops are best for ages 7 and up.

Our, once (or twice) per month, Toddler Workshops are for ages 1-4 years.

We would like to plan for a series of workshops and/or Studio time for older kids. We’re thinking that high-school age kids might like to have a place to go and create on weekday afternoons. If you are interested in something like this, please Contact Us.

We are not set up for drop-off.
The accompanying adults stay with the child - and you can work on your own projects too! We do not charge for the adults, only the kids.

No, the cost for the session includes the accompanying adults.
When we started this workshop 4 years ago, we wanted to create a place where kids and their parents/ grandparents/guardians spent a few hours being creative together and watching each other make their own art.
Note from Frank
When my son Luke was in art class as a baby, I remember sitting off to the side watching him and wanting to create some stuff too. I told myself: “If I ever start my own art studio for kids, I’m gonna make it so that the adults can do the art too, to give kids and their adults an intimate few hours together, using their imaginations and creating together”.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get us on the phone. Our workshop is not the only thing we do. In addition to running Little Pulp, our small team have other jobs and projects that we are working on, which make it difficult for us to field calls.

If you’d like to speak with us on the phone, please send us an email and we can arrange a time to speak.

We are very sorry for this, but due to the cost of materials and the fact that many of the guests were complaining to us about mess on the kids’ clothes and their hair - we have decided to stop offering Slime for birthdays.

We will still be offering slime workshops - which are suitable for all ages, but it was just getting too complicated and stressful for birthdays.

We’ve had a few situations where a child put the entire glob of slime in their hair and the parents were very upset. One father even cut a big chunk of his daughter’s hair off during the party.

We are truly very sorry - as we know how much kids’ love the slime - but we work really hard to make our parties a lot of fun for everyone - even without the slime.

Yes, the birthday child is part of the final number of kids.

Yes, any child over the age of 1 year is included in the count. We really do get everyone involved.

If you have a situation where there are a lot of younger siblings, let us know and we can work something out.

No, we only charge for the kids that attend the party. If someone is unable to make it, for any reason, we won’t include them in the final count.

No, we are a Printmaking shop and all the kids will create their own set of prints (ink on paper) using our kid-friendly printing press (pictured above). The paintings on display in our shop are collaborative art pieces that everyone works on together, over time - but they stay here in the shop.

Not always.
Our online calendar is updated manually - so a date might appear available, but may already be in the process of being reserved.

Also, we’re a small family run operation, our schedule is always a bit erratic - since we have to juggle our schedule with our own kids' schedules.

You can arrive 30 minutes prior to your party start time.

Yes, you can bring balloons and party decorations - though we always tell parents to save their money - because the art is everywhere.

Since Covid, we have eased our cancellation policy. If something should happen where you would need to cancel the party - we will issue you a refund of the deposit.

We might revisit this policy at some point - but we understand things can happen.

No, we do not serve the food/cake/etc. We make announcements when the food is ready and get the kids to the table -but all the adults help serve their kids food. It goes along with the collaborative nature of our shop.
