School class trip
At a Little Pulp class trip, students learn the fine art of printmaking. Each child creates their own individual set of prints, and everyone works together on several large-scale collaborative works on display throughout our 5,000 sq/ft art studio/workshop. The trip lasts for 2 hours, usually start time is 10:00am-12:00pm, though we only conduct one trip per day, so start time is flexible (depending on your bus schedule).
What will Each Student Take Home?
Each student will individually take home a set of their very own prints. How many prints exactly will be up to each student and their willingness to work on their own project. Some students have created approximately 4 prints and others have created 15-20 prints (it's really up to them - we don’t impose limits).
Can they Eat Snacks and/or bring Lunch?
Yes, children are allowed to have snacks, though the workshop session is fast-paced and high-energy, leaving very little time for a sit-down snack. We have had a few trips from the Bronx and the students brought their lunch. Contact us by email for more details.
What days do you offer Trips?
We were focusing on Mondays and Tuesdays for class trips, though have opened it up for any weekday. Please email us for available dates. You can check our calendar (though please note, some dates may already be “penciled in” by teachers. Due to the nature of the artwork we create, the assistants we need on hand and the materials we use, we are only able to offer one class trip per day.
Do You Offer Title 1 Discounts?
Initially, we had offered a slight discount for Title 1 students. After evaluating our materials cost and factoring in our overhead, we are no longer able to offer discounts for Title 1. Please Click Here to Email us if you have any questions on this.
